San Fernando Valley Residential Incentives
Available Incentives
TECH Clean California incentives will be available to residents in the San Fernando Valley impacted by the Aliso Canyon Gas storage facility. These incentives are designed to electrify more homes in this area and lessen the reliance of natural gas.
Beginning in late August 2026, Aliso Canyon Priority Communities -- including Porter Ranch, Granada Hills, Northridge, Chatsworth, North Hills, Canoga Park, Reseda, Winnetka, West Hills, Van Nuys, and Lake Balboa -- will be eligible for TECH Clean California heat pump HVAC and heat pump water heater incentives. Income-qualifying residents can also select incentives for heat pump clothes dryers, cooktops and electric ranges, and more. Plus, income-qualifying incentives will cover the full installation costs.

- Contractors can also choose to complete additional certifications to offer additional electrification incentives to income-qualified residents in the designated area.
- Once completed, your contractor listing on the SwitchIsOn.org will be updated with these certifications, and you will be added to our database for these incentives.
